The August 6th. Business Meeting was very productive with many ideas brought forward in regards to our new Lions year. President Lion Steve Street led us in discussion of new fundraisers, new service projects, and programs that will carry through our goal of being "knights of the blind in the fight against darkness". Our August 21st. Program Mtg. will find us at St. Vincent's East, Bldg. 46, Suite 475 at 6:15PM. Madelyn Jones of the Low Vision Center will present our program demonstrating equipment used when working with patients that have been diagnosed with problems of this nature. Any one interested in learning more about Lionism, esp. the TLC, is invited to attend one of our meetings through-out the year...the sooner, the better! Yes, our numbers may be small but as we grow, isn't it GREAT TO BE A LION; YES A TRUSSVILLE LION!!!
